Abstract

Motivation and good study habits are two things that are needed by every student in achieving maximum learning results. This research is a correlation study which aims to determine (1) the relationship between motivation and students' biology learning outcomes, (2) the relationship between students' biology habits and learning outcomes, and (3) the relationship between motivation and study habits and students' biology learning outcomes. The population is 144 people and the sample is 59 people from class XII IPA MAN 1 Polewali Mandar. Data on motivation and study habits were collected using a questionnaire while data on learning outcomes was collected through documentation. The results showed that students' learning motivation was included in the high category (54.24%), study habits were included in the moderate category (67.79%) and learning outcomes were included in the sufficient category (54.24%). The results of the correlation test showed that there was no relationship between motivation and study habits with the biology learning outcomes of class XII IPA MAN 1 Polewali Mandar students (P 0.05).

Abstract

SMAN 1 Tinambung is one of the schools that implemented online learning during the covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to analyze the motivation and learning outcomes of students in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic in class XI MIA 1 at SMAN 1 Tinambung. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using a case study design. Research data was collected through observations, interviews and learning outcomes documents. The results of the study show that students' learning motivation during online learning can be said to be quite good during the pandemic, especially in class XI MIA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Tinambung, Polewali Regency. This can be seen in all students who always take part in the online learning process using the WhatsApp application. Students like the application because it is one of the most commonly used social media applications. Students also always do the assignments given by the teacher. As for the learning outcomes of class XI MIA 1 students during the online learning process, there were 6 students in the medium category (16.6%), and 30 students in the high category (83.4%). Students who have good learning motivation will produce much better learning outcomes than students who have less learning motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian Research and Development ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik Elektronik (e-LKPD) Berbasis Search, Solve, Create and Share (SSCS) Mata Pelajaran Sistem Pernapasan Untuk Siswa Kelas XI, yang valid praktis dan efektif. Adapun, prosedur penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu analisis (Analyze), perancangan (Design), pengembangan (Develop), penerapan (Implementation), dan evaluasi (Evaluation). Lokasi penelitian di MAN 1 Majene, Kabupaten Majene, Sulawesi Barat. Subjek penelitian adalah kelas XI MIA 1. Penilaian validitas e-LKPD berbasis SSCS dilakukan oleh 4 validator ahli yang menggunakan lembar penilaian validasi ahli materi dan ahli media, kepraktisan dinilai berdasarkan respon pendidik dan respon peserta didik dengan menggunakan angket yang telah dinyatakan valid oleh validator dan keefektifan diukur dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diperoleh nilai rata-rata total validitas dari ahli materi sebesar 84% dan ahli media sebesar 78% yang artinya e-LKPD berbasis SSCS yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria valid. Hasil analisis kepraktisan media pembelajaran e-LKPD berbasis SSCS menunjukkan nilai rata-rata total kepraktisan dari respon guru sebesar 86% yang berada pada rentang nilai (81-100%) dan respon peserta didik 72.5% yang berada pada rentang skor (61-80%). Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-LKPD berbasis SSCS telah memenuhi kriteria praktis. Persentase perhitungan analisis hasil belajar peserta didik yang mencapai ketuntasan adalah 66,67%. Perolehan analisis tersebut jika dicocokkan dengan tabel kriteria keefektifan yang berada pada rentang skor (61-80%) yang artinya e-LKPD berbasis SSCS dapat dikatakan “efektif”.
